in the breeding forum i put up a post on breeding boas or pythons. i said that i liked pythons better but i thought the eggs would be a pain to incubate. i guess everyone proved me wrong though.
anyway i was wondering wat the average sizes were for the different types of carpets(irian jaya, jungle, coastal.) if there are any more please tell me their sizes too:) thx

Irian's are the smallest ranging from like 3-6 feet, where jungles usually go from 4-7ish feet, and coastals getting the biggest from I believe 6-10, but I could be wrong on that last one.

Irians and Jungles run about $175-$250 depending on the source and the individual snake. I'm not too up on the price of Coastals but I think they are just a bit cheaper then the other two types.

Ive seen carpets priced at around 150 I believe and thats retail. They're not as popular im assuming because of there size and cage requirments. I personally love jungles best, but I could be biased as I only have a jungle :D
Also prise depends on looks. As all of them will be beauties, there are some that will always be more yellow, neat pattern, etc.

ok that helps me out a little but the reason that im asking all these stupid questions is because like i said i like pythons(especially the big ones) but i would need to breed smaller species (besides balls) to make a profit. im still trying to think of other smaller species but i do like carpets:)
I say spend a little more money and buy a quality carpet :D
