Can you feed baby dwarf rabbit's to pythons or are
they more fatty than other species of rabbit . I
always have access to rabbits where I live , as for rats the past three weeks no one has had any and if they did they wanted like $11 for one . Any answers
would be greatly apprciated . Thank you .

I can't take credit for finding this though, some one else gave it to me in a prior post as an answer.

If you're in Vancouver, there are a few places I know of that sell rats for a reasonable price. Not quite feeder prices, but much cheaper than what they charge you at Petcetera and Superpet. Rainforest Pet Spectrum on East Hastings and just past Boundary in Burnaby sells them for $3.25-$5.00. There's also Aquariums West on Burrard downtown near the bridge which sells rats for $5 but they'll give them to you for $4.25 each if you buy 5 or more. I'm just breeding my own now, with a combination of lines of rats from UBC's research labs as well as the above mentioned pet stores.

Where were you getting your rabbits from and for how much by the way?

I am actualy out side Vancouver , and I don't have a car so it makes it a bit harder finding them . The place I usually go to is all out and has been for a couple months but I may start breeding my own rats soon , I do with my mice .
