how often have you guys had one egg hatch and then like 4 days later the other still has not hatched?? They are from the same clutch, it's still nice and fat no mold, a brown spot on the bottem but I think it's from the substrate I have. Just wondering.

I have had it happen a couple times, I think the longest delay between eggs for the same clutches that I've had was 6 days.

It's not unusual for a few days to pass before the second egg hatches. I rarely have them hatch within 24 hours, it's more the exception here. The longest time span that I can remember was either 14 or 15 days, and both cresites were perfectly healthy.

Well the first hatched on the 5th during the night the other is still incubating. So who knows.

My baby finally hatched a whole 10days later then it's lost clutch mate.

OOH! that's a pretty one too. It was worth waiting for, chewing your fingernails down to the elbow, huh? :)

Oh god I HATE waiting but in the end it's worth it. Although out of the 4 that have hatched I have yet to see them come out of the egg. This last one was closer though, it still had it's tail and leg in the egg. I have 2 more eggs in the incubator for now so hopfully I'll get to see one actually hatch. The first 2 I wasn't even home I was in edmonton. Go figure my very first crested eggs to hatched and I was 6hrs away. Oh well. This one has a good patteren so hopefully it'll stick and be a keeper.
