Ok, I have got the ok from my folks to get a Bearded Dragon. Now I just need to know how to set up a inclosure. I was wondering how I could build a melamime inclosure? And also if anyone has pics of their inclosures that they could share?
Thanks everyone
(Does anyone know a reliable Canadian breeder?)

How old of a beardie are you going to get?
The age and size makes a difference as to how you would set up the enclosure.

I'm no building wizard and don't have from-scratch plans. I had my brother help me convert an IKEA kitchen cabinet, the horizontal kind that goes over your sink or fridge.

He cut out a rectangle so we could put in a ventilation grill on the back wall, and a circle for a cord grommet. He put in tracks on the front so we could have glass cut for sliding glass doors. It was very easy. This is my favorite cage as it's very energy efficient. Even when I have my air conditioning blasting and the room temp is 65, just a 100 watt bulb is enough to heat it.

Many folks just go ahead and build their adult sized cage and just partition off a section with particle board to keep the size manageable for a hatchling. That way s/he never has to go through the stress of adjusting to another enclosure later and you save some $$$ to put towards feeding that gaping maw of hunger known as a young beardie.
