I saw a pic of a "viper" ball morph in Reptiles. I also heard of a ball blood hybrid. Is the Viper ball the hybrid? It looks like it too me.

Interesting, Ive never heard of such a thing. Im curious as to what some of your opinions are on this. Wouldnt there be severe deformities if something like this were to happen?

Quite a few different python hybrids out there, bat eaters (Burm x Retic), carpondros (Carpet x GTP), superballs (Ball x Blood), and what not. My personal opinion about the whole ordeal is that they should not be. I see them as a result of breeders playing god, while on the other hand, I have to say hats off to their skill. Getting, say, a burm to breed with a Retic is no small feat, and incubating the eggs successfully is most likely extremely difficult as well...

I must admit I love the look of the carpondros (even if the idea behind them isn't good)
but these bloodXballs........ look wrong.

The Viper Ball, owned by BHB Enterprises, is NOT a Hybrid. It is an import out of Africa. Pure ball python...and a beautiful one at that!

Are there any less common morphs in that issue of Reptiles? Something like an Ivory or Congo Jungle?

Here is a good link if you want to see most of the morphs out there. It is a page I did for Greg Graziani's website. You can click on the pics to enlarge them.
Hope you like!

Another one is the ball X angolan cross. That one bugs me the most.

I agree. Nothing like hybridizing the crap out of an animal that isn't well established in captivity, but is in high demand and commands a high price even as a pure animal.

That kinda weird, I wonder if both heads are fully functonal or not, mot likely not. But to want to prove something like that out is distrubing.
