hello,
i have a 2 year old coastal and he he has been in my care for about 5 months. for the last 2-3 weeks he's been sitting in the cool side of his tank and hasn't returned to the heated side of the enclosure at all. i handle him and he is active and seems ok, but he just dosn't care for the heated part of the tank. he lives in a 75 gallon tank and sits as far away from his heat source as possible.i have a digital thermometer that reads 90 on the heat tape so i dont think its to hot. can any one explane this behaviour?
