I personaly prefer the less venomous species since in February I will have a little one running around. Great collection though, those are some gorgeous scorps.

Sweet pics!!!!!! Those are some great looking scorps. Ive got myself an emporer, but they dont compare :D
If you all want something more active than an Emperor w/o the hot venom like some of those above, a Desert Hairy is hard to beat and actually easier to keep than an Emperor IMO.

Anyone in the GTA have any of these? Do they live on a desert habitat im assuming?
Yeah they are a desert species. I keep mine on dry peat moss alth0ough you could use sand

Im out in Windsor and I have one. They are great scorps, very active, very aggressive, and rather interesting. Most pet shops can get a hold of them rather easily.
Here are some more pictures

What would a bite from the desert hairy do? Not that I inted to handle it either way :p but id like to know incase.
Windsors a bit far. Ill see if some store near me has a contact. Ive also got a good friend who is into the inverts.
A sting would definetly hurt but is not considered dangerous.
