These are a low elevation Arizona locale; as adults these snakes turn to an awesome burgundy red/brown. One of my very favourite locales for sure!

Yeah, I should probably elaborate that when I use the phrase "older picture" it's all relative... That pic is probably only a few weeks old but I called it an "older picture" because there have likely been 200 other pics that have gone through my camera since then! It seems old to me, but I guess it isn't really...

Thanks Paul, they are definitely my favourite snake to work with...
They are generally pretty docile, yet have a great feeding response. They are super easy to get feeding on f/t (all my snakes were started on live and switched over right off the bat for me, with a few tricks of course). They stay small. They prefer low humidity - no misting, no filling up water bowls (in fact, my snakes don't have a water bowl, they get a drink once a week or so and that's it). There are many more reasons to love 'em too...

Nice stuff Ryan! So, what's next? I won't be getting any new locals this year. Instead I'm after more Kenyans. Next year I'll probably pick up new local or two. Then again who knows if I produce enough pastels this year maybe I'll get both this year.
What about Sand boas Ryan, do you keep any?

Hey Trevor,
I will be looking into acquiring some El Rosario's, Anza Borrego's, Limburg albinos, and Corn Springs in the future. Hopefully, we'll get some Borrego's and Limburg's next season from Uncle Roy.
I have always liked Roy's nukes and have been toying with the idea of a pair for a couple of years now. I like conicus as well. I don't really have consistent access to live prey, and my collection does not yet justify a breeding colony, so these are limiting factors for my getting into Sand Boas. Perhaps in the future. When Roy starts getting more of his Nuke influence into the amelanistics it'll be a different story, I'll breed mice for those guys!
