Here is my freshly molted versi. Most people like these including myself. I think the electric blue coloring is stunning

One of my favourites.... yet I own not a single one. Hmm, Yve, you come up with a name for yours yet?

Not sure exactly how old it is. I have had it about a month now and it 1 inch. So it has some growing to do.

Aidan, I figured you already had one of these since you have so many tarantulas. Of course I can't say much since I haven't had this one very long lol;)

Versicolour is an amazing spider from sling right to adult. I got one at about 1" in Sept 04 and it's one of the best purchases ever made. She has amazing colours, eats like a pig and is growing fast too. Love the species and a must have for any T keeper!

Well, I've had a few in the past, but like all Avicularia, they have a high mortality rate as spiderlings.

I think the key is proper ventilation. I had one die early this year myself.

yeh, i used to do ok with them, then things just went downhill!!
i gave up when my last geroldi died, might give em another go now i'm restarting over here in Canada, i'm just trying to find heat sources here in Canada (for good prices, lol)

If you can keep your room temp at least 70F you won't need any other heat source.
