thats actually 50 gal... maybe its made for 40 gal of water or thats just how hagen sells them... or you get a better dead....

No, it's 40g. Their 50g has the same floor space but it higher.

Trevor the standard 40g breeered in 36x18x15. I have 4 at those dimensions.

lxhxw div by 232.5= gallons i was tould so 36x12x18=33 gal i think hope this helps 36x18x18=50.1 gallon
