I saw on in a ad on kingsnake about dwarf burms. I have no interests in these but are these correct or is it just selective breeding? sain that it's a new island spcies I believe, I dont know, my spider senses are going off on this as being a possible fake.

Yes dwarf burmese are a reality. There are skeptics though, just as there was when dwarf retics were first discovered.

They are supposed to max out at 7 to 8 feet, breed at 5 feet and right now they are $10,000 US a pair.

I still need to find out forsure, but we have these two ALBINO burm twins that were hatched out I believe 5 or 6 years back. They are TINY. Imagine that, dwarf albinos!!!!
They'd have to be bred and proven out, but their both females so we'd get some good eggs counts.
Very interesting! Does anyone know what Island they come from?

I'd love a dwarf burm , but I don't think I'll have a extra five or so thousand lying around anytime soon .

i have heard that the dwarf burms have some sort of scandal surrounding them, something about people cheating and defrauding one another with false references. the pythons are true dwarfs, but the guys hawking them are (according to rumor) crooks. i believe that they are available from a legit guy in the uk. a sandboa breeder as i recall. might even be sandboa.uk
