Pic - Het Pied marker & trauma!

OK I wanted to take a few pics of my het pied to show everyone what the belly markers look like...

Then I came up with the brilliant idea of taking a shot of the belly from below through 1/4 inch glass...

While getting up off the floor I hit the glass with my hand knocking it onto my head. I was dazed for a second and felt blood all over my face. I had a nice trip to the ER for three stitches just above my eye so I hope you enjoy the pics. LOL! :D

Thanks everyone! I thought you all could use a laugh at my expense. :D

Jeff is right pied markers have thick black pattern down the sides of the belly that is also striped toward the tail with no color on the belly scales.

We were lucky enough to get four het pied females this year and all four have the marker traits. A friend of mine does have a het pied without marker traits that produced pieds this year proving that not all het pieds have these marks but the majority of them do. All the babies I looked at when shopping around also had these traits. Here is a pic of one of the bigger 04 girls we acquired...
She is about 450 grams...
