So I know I said that I was not in any way keeping a baby, but I decided that I just couldn't not keep one :p LOL... so here's the little girl I decided to keep. She just had her second shed last night, and as many pics as I tried to get of her today, she just wouldn't stop hissing and striking at the camera, so I couldn't get any clear shots of her pattern. She wasn't the most colourful in the litter, but she had one of the best patterns amongst the females...

LOL trust me I know how hard it is to say no to a boa :p Great choice Linds, she's definitely got a sweet pattern. Shouldn't you keep a male too with all these females you have? :p If you need some room, you could always send the Jamaicans over here :D

I've got all the man I need over here...lol :p I'm hoping to breed her back to Mr. Poopypants in 4 years. He is very clean and has the most extreme striping, which is what I'm hoping to intensify in future generations, so I'm not really interested in holding back any males from this litter. Right now this only puts me up to 3 females, so it isn't too much for him to handle hopefully. However, I won't be breeding the females consistently every year either, as I would like to be able to give their systems time off every 1-2 breedings to rest and recover 100 :)

Again, not what I look for but that is just me. It's still a flawless animal.
Congrats again Linds! Are you trying them again this year?
Cheers,

The babies from her and the father should be really interesting to see with that crazy pattern they have! Congrats on such cute babies.

I get first picks again, right?? ;)

Again, not what I look for but that is just me.

You said the same thing in my first thread but I didn't bother asking, so, i'll ask now.. What DO you look for???

Linds, you made an AWESOME choice, i'm glad you decided to keep one of the babies, but I must admit, I KNEW you would break down and keep one..!! :D

Thanks for the kind words! :D

Trevor,
She's actually looking pretty good right now, so I may try her again in January.

Marisa,
I'm hoping to get solid striped boas within a few generations. Who knows, maybe I could luck in and get it with just that breeding? Dad is around 70-75% striped, maybe all that's needed is this little girl?

Oh no you don't!! I think I should get the Jamaicans! I don't have any perticular reason why just that I want them :p That is a beautiful lil boa Linds. It's hard not to keep one. TB

Great choice Linds, she's a beauty! :) I wouldn't have been able to resist keeping one either -- actually, I probably wouldn't have been able to resist keeping a few. LOL. So you've got more willpower than me :p Not that that's saying all that much, most people probably do. Hehe.

Can't wait to see her babies in a few years -- you should get some pretty extreme striping breeding her back to Mr.Poopypants! :D

I'm not even sure why you two are debating over who gets them... We all know who get's em when she runs out of room.. :D

I can totally understand why you kept that one back, it's always hard to let go of your babies.
