this burm is now just over 7 months old.. about 6'.. it seems after her last feeding(3 jumbo rats) she was not able to close her mough correctly.. its like the bottom part of her jaw is pushed back. like she has an overbite..id post a pic but se is currently in shed and i dont want to touch her yet as her bites are starting to hurt more :) its been about a week in a half since this happened. if anyone knows anything about this let me know, thanks.. marc..

Maybe she broke her jaw, couldnt tell you exctly why, but when a snake is that big they are VERY strong and may do damage to themselves. OR she may have an infection, and she keeps her jaw that way to relieve pressure or something. Not too sure, just trying to help. Keep us updated.

I think it might be time to take a closer look at her mouth.. if yer experienced that is.. if not... take her to a vet...

I had a ball python with the same problem, one feeding later he fixed it him self. Looked like he was about to say something lol. But yeah, is itlike the lower jaw didnt "snap back in place" so to speak?

ydnic...you always seem to have some slightly offensive comment to make towards someone..at least in the posts that I have read from you so far....I personally am not taking offence to it ....because I get the feeling that sometimes YOU dont know how to shut your mouth either. :)..hope tp hear from ya soon...and im sure i will!
