My anertheristics are called Spot and Dot. My Nuclears are called NKM1 and NKF1. Most of my snakes have codes not names. The way I like to pick names for snakes is to find something interesting about there natural history and name them after that. Like say the name of a river in their habitate or something like that. Emerald tree boas are called Canius Corallus. I named my male Cain and the female Lophelia. The second part of their scientific name is Corallus which means coral. The canopy in the rain forest where they were discovored looked like coral so that is how they got their name. Canius for they front K-9s and their skull structure and Corallus because of where they were found. Lophelia is a type of coral found in the waters of south america where they come from. So that is how I got my two names. Cain and Lophelia.
Cheers,
Trevor
Why don't you wait until you get him? I always wait until I get them, so the name is whatever suits them as an individual, rather than just a name. Be it based on their appearance, temperament, etc. Sometimes it takes a while to come to me, but eventually it does :)
