first rack I ever made for my pictus geckos and a cornsnake and a ball python. Olny took me three hours (with a little help from my buddy who is a finishing carpenter lol) the dementions are 40 inches wide 2 feet deep and 4 feet high. It amazres me that this took the place of 6 aquariums . Juts so much more efficient.http://www.ssnakess.com/photopost/data/500/5071first_rack-med.JPG

well I dont trust myself wiring heat tape and I have about 12 uth's im not using so I just have to buy some dimmers. My room stays a pretty constant 78 degrees so I think that will work just fine/

78 degrees IS NOT FINE for those species, ESPECIALLY the ball python that requires a basking spot of 90-95! Who told you 78 degrees was fine? Or did you just assume?

Ken, he's using UTHs so it sounds to me like that is fine for a room that is around 78 degrees.

Trevor, It was never planned out that well, I just decided to do it and did it lol. Ken I was trying to say the temerature in my room doesnt fluncuate very much so I dont need a thermostat to control temps. Im using uth on dimmers to get me my hot spots :) I geuss I should have been more clear.

Sorry bout that then. I thought you meant you'd keep them at 78 until you had dimmers.
