LOL
Do you mean inbreeding? Making hybrids? Mixing locals?
Sorry, man. Wrong term, that's all. :)

Here's a pretty recent discussion on the subject: http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=56155&highlight=hybrids
Do a search on 'hybrids" and you'll find a lot more.

lol Tim, yeah we gave the topic a good going over in that one .
Killa, I prefer breaded bloods; they're a much fatter snake making them tender when you lock in the juices with breading. As for breading my balls, it tends to sting too much to I try to avoid it. FYI; I would use an egg white and seasoned bread crumbs over a "Shake and Bake" type mix.
Seriously, loaded topic. Do a search, there are LOADS of threads on this topic and people don't hold back their opinions on this one.

Very true mykee. It is too soon after the last foray into this topic. A quick read through on the last one will give a pretty good idea on everyone's stance.
I wonder though if bloods would taste like chicken.

It's been done. It's called a "super ball". :http://www.roussisreptiles.com/collectionpages/balls/super.html

Blood Balls do look kinda neat. I'm against it, as my whole reason I started keeping reptiles was to observe and watch a wild animal. They fascinated me since I was 2 years old. So to start mixing and matching them is unnecessary in my eye. Morphs are cool, but they are at least a valid species.
To each their own. I don't preach.

those bloods balls are so clue i like interbreeding but i dont like breeding 2 tottaly diferent types of snakes lol like a corn snake and a burmese or something like that. I usto get blood pythons and ball pythons mixed up actually. If the too snakes are partly related yes if they arent no.
Why do you find it ok to breed 'partly related' species, but not completley unrelated species??? What makes the difference?
My opinions can be found in the link Tim posted, as well as nearly all the other discussions on this topic. This is probably one of the most common discussions on this site, so you may not get as many replies, since I'm sure several people don't want to post it for the thousandth time. You will likely find more opinions in the archives, than you will in this thread.

The whole blood ball thing is extremely disturbing to me.
Obviously as there are not many around the problems are minimal. But what happens when they start being sold, and people start breeding these blood balls to pure bloods or balls? One idiot could pollute the gene pool of either species by simply not labeling properly or selling to the wrong person.
Scary IMHO.

He probably doesn`t like it because it won`t work - lol
