View Full Version : Raimi Remaking 'Evil Dead'?
Oh boy!!!
This pleases me greatly!!! :)
Has Hollywood's staleness finally rubbed off on Sam Raimi & co.? Get this, Sam Raimi is remaking 'Evil Dead', the 1981 horror cult classic. Oh and if that wasn't shocking enough, he won't even be directing it... But somehow Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell are onboard as well.

I saw that! That's awesome, but I'll always love the original more...I wonder who they'll get to play Ash, I can't see anyone better than Bruce Campbell!

That's pretty cool. It may suck, but perhaps we'll eventually end up with an updated Army of Darkness as well! :)
Been a big fan of these movies for a very long time.

Blah It sucks it's gonna be made by someone other than him, but now he's just gonna try to make more money by producing more sequels and remakes and such... movies like.. Boogeyman.. come on! =( Too bad he's not gonna do something new and original before Spider-Man 3 and even that's a remake. *Sigh*

Raimi's style is nothing remotly close to an Evil Dead movie.. thats ********.
Bruce Campbell is my favourite actor just because of those movies. What a cocky *******! I love that man, such a man. I liked his cameo in Spider-Man 2, maybe HE'LL replay Ash since he's obviously got a connection with Raimi, ahahaha that would be rad. Anyone see Bubba Hotep? Man I love Bruce Campbell, just love him.

I'm looking forward to seeing it forsure. I think Ash may be my favorite character out of any movie.

Maybe the creatures will be a bit scary looking, dont get me wrong I love Evil dead even though Evil Dead 2 was a bit off it was weird how they ended up in a different world. A remake may be cool
