They look kind of like snot/boogers. I've never thought to take a picture of them though. If you're popping for sperm plugs, they should be what comes out. If you're getting anything else, you must be doing something wrong. ;) :D

Sometimes old bits of shed will come out but it looks kind of the same as the sperm plugs.

How big is the male you're breeding?

i have a bp thats 50 inches using the snake measuring program. From what i've read that really big for a male.It was sold to me as a female but probed to a 7 scale depth. I am not really sure on its sex but at the moment going with a male. I did see what looked like soour cream in the bottom of his very large water/soaking bowl the other day and was wondering if that was it.

I'm with CARLiTO, the stuff in the water dish is most likely Urate. You pop for sperm plugs.

do males shed these ? how and why do they get rid of them?
if your snake never left one does that mean its a female?
