Anyone know of any great sites to visit that explain how to raise your own hissing cockroaches??
Thanks!!
I've read a dozen pages on it so far Jeff, And it all seems pretty simple. 3-5 roaches. thats about it. :) seems they incubate the eggs themselves and give live birth.

That page was pretty good. I just did a hissing cockroach search on google. Seems breeding them is a snap.

Jeff, just a tip. Get as many adult breeders as possible. The babies are fed really fast. The one problem is they only have babies every 2-3 months, but at least you can get up to 70 :)

Keep them at mid 80's all the time... optimum temps :) also, they like being really crowded... My 12 are loving it in the small (not x-small) kritter keeper I got for $7... It is about "6x"4x"4 (lxhxw), they love it... on part of a small heat pad...

Dwarf monitors.
Yeah Kyle, we got a wackload coming.
I've not bred them yet but it seems to be easy as cake. Just like mice.
