I got my adult Gonyosoma pair yesterday, and as i put them into their tank, I noticed that the female is VERY 'fat'!
At around midbody she is so big that the white skin between the scales is entirely exposed in quite large areas.
I wasnt prepared for this at all, what to do!?
She is in otherwise top condition, and has a mean temperament on her, worse than my atb's by far.
I'd greatly appreciate any feedback frop ppl here that have experience in breeding gonyosomas, if she is indeed pregnant, I'd hate to lose the eggs.
Thanks /Quensel

Update: This morning when I got up, I found her laying eggs!
It came to a total of 7 eggs, and now they are in the incubator at 29 degrees C.
Hopefully they're fertile, havent candled them yet.
Wish me luck everyone! :D

Congrats, you may want to drop your incubation temp slightly though. It is fine but is on the high end of the scale & IMHO its always best to shoot for the middle of the range as not to risk possible problems in case of a slight temp spike. Bonus for you anyhow eh! Cheers & good luck with the eggs, Mark

what do you have the humidity at? i would incubate them like corn snake eggs personaly.
That is soooooo awesome!!! Best of luck!! I sure hope you can hatch them out!!
Wow, I'd be sooo thrilled if I got a W/C and it laid eggs for me, especially a gonyosoma!

Mine arent WC, we bought them as an adult CB pair, and the previous owner has gotten 2 clutches on them previously.
2 eggs have gone bad already :( I put my hope in the rest of the lot now...
