What do you use to prevent escaping the pinhead crickets ?

I just keep mine in a plastic terrarium, the odd one gets out but they don't survive long anyway. A taller terrarium is best for obvious reasons.

Those crickets escape through osmosis. I only buy them at shows, and keep them in the delicups they come in. Unfortunately they don't last very long this way, but it's the only way to prevent escapees that I know of that works for me. I used to keep them in small kritter keepers but they'd always get out.

Tall enclosure. This way they have a difficult time jumping out.

Just be glad that the rodents in your feeder colony can't do the same .

We would keep ours in a ten gallon tank, and put some tape in the corners, preventing the pinheads from climbing on the silicone.

I guess you could put vaseline also on the top part, will make the pinheads stick to it if they manage to climb all the way up there.
