Sick?

I've been slightly worried about my baby anole, lately. Although he acts healthy--he's been eating well and is still as active as ever--I've been noticing a little bit of white buildup around his nostrils. It's difficult to see being as he's only about 2 inches including the tail, so I'm not sure what it is, but I'm worried he might have a respiratory problem of some sort. I've forgotten to turn on his heat lamp a couple times:o so I'm worried he may have gotten it from the cold.

I think he might be getting better *fingers crossed* I've been seeing less and less buildup lately, but I'm still kind of worried.

Can anybody help me?:(

it sounds like salt deposits, nothing to be worried about. though try and make sure you turn on the heat light.

Oh, good!! I will try to do better with the heat lamp; am going to get an undertank heater, as well so that he doesn't cool off too much overnight.

As long as your house doesn't get really cold at night you wouldn't need an under tank heater.

I need three wool blankets to keep warm at night. It gets pretty cold.
