All my babies left tonight -- as we speak they're on a plane heading out west to my friend who will be looking after them for me until I get settled in out there.... I miss them already! And I didn't even get to say goodbye properly, I had to rush home from work and get them all into their containers and then rush to the airport to get them there in time for the flight -- as it was, I actually ended up getting there 30 minutes later than I was supposed to... got lost... hehe :) :o
So now I get to be a nervous wreck until tomorrow when I can be sure that everyone survived the journey no worse for the wear... yay... the joys of "motherhood" :)
Keep your fingers & toes crossed for me...

Nope, Xander's still here... he'll be living with me at my parents house... He'll be flying out next Saturday with me -- I'll make sure that I don't feed him right before we go....
So I'm not completely without babies... just without my leo babies... which are also the ones that require a lot more care... I suppose I could look on this as a kind of vacation... LOL... but I miss them anyways. I enjoy looking after them :)

I hope the trip goes well for them. Hope your friend does not get too attatched. Otherwise they might not give them back.

Well, everyone has arrived, safe and sound :) So that's good news... I miss them already though... strange how attached you get to these guys. I've felt almost depressed all day long! LOL... weird :) Oh well -- I know that she'll take great care of them for me... and I'm going to visit them as often as she'll let me... hehe :)
Quervo -- heck, 12 degrees IS toasty compared to what it's been here! LOL... supposed to get down to -1 tonight...
Mike, I'm moving back to Victoria... I moved out here 3.5 years ago, and now I'm heading on home...

LOL Lance! :) You're welcome to visit them, if Kim doesn't mind -- but I'll tell her to keep a close eye on you when you're there -- no slipping leos into your pockets mister! :D

Wow .. I hope that was a typo .. 'cause 74 degrees C. would be real toasty. :D
I'm not a heat type of person though .. This is my time of year .. sunny and about 68 degrees suits me fine. Once the morning fog burns off that is ... gotta have morning fog .. it just brings all the spider webs to life so nicely.
I am glad they arrived ok! lol, it wont be long till you get tobe with your babies again, until then you can bond with Zander ;)
hehehe, anyluck packing up all those fun tanks yet?

Me too :) I know -- it won't be long -- but still "visitation rights" isn't quite the same as having them living with me... hehe...
And I definitely plan on bonding with Xander a little bit :)
Oh yes, packing the tanks was ever so much fun *rolls her eyes*. Took like half an hour per tank wrapping those stupid things in cardboard so they hopefully wouldn't break during the move. Everything got picked up yesterday morning -- fingers crossed that it all arrives in one piece.
oh yeah nothing in my mpocket fer sure kim
hehehe
