Here's a question for all the experienced breeders out there. I have a pair of Apricot Pueblans that I would like to breed. What weight (in Grams) should they weigh before I should attempt breeding?

Thanks for any input.

300 gr. for females at the minimum end of spectrum and 175-200 gr. for males...

Although smaller confidant males might do the job, age is more of a factor for males.

Good luck

Thanks Marc. I would have thought less than that since they are a smaller snake than corns. I would have been in error, looks like I wait another year.

I think the 300g rule for corns is wrong though. I wouldn't breed a female corn until she is somewhere in the 500g range, that's just me. Pueblans are a smaller snake and the 300g mark sounds about right to me too. :)

Agreed. 300 grams for a corn sounds far too small. They are definitly a much smaller snake than corns! :D
