I'm getting a 4-5 foot long about 2 foot wide and 2foot high tank. It used to be full of African cichlids and other fish but they want to give the empty tank know to me. I get for free. So I'm wondering what I should put in it. No snakes my mom has the biggest phobia.

Divide it into 3 diferent cages and start reproducing teraphosa leblondi, The Goliath Bird Eater....

Uromastyx would do great in a setup like that, and are load of fun, and even total non-herpers tend to find them adorable. As a bonus they are 100% herbivorous, so no bugs to deal with :cool: You could house Beardies in there as well (hehehe... not my personal favourite). Dwarf monitors would also be cool in there. Some types of skink may also do well in a setup like that.
