Finally Albino Ball Python......Sweet!

Hello there everyone:

Well as you will soon read this is not an Albino Ball Python as stated in title of the thread, but its close…lol.

Actually I have an opportunity to breed my female Ball Pythons to my own regular males but came across this boy, a NERD 2002 1.0 100% het for Albino Ball Python. I picked him up from David Kwok with the assistance of Tim Cranwill. I was convinced since I am breeding my females why not try with this boy. Best case scenario I get some 50% hets, an even better scenario they all become females…hoping at least, so this male can have more tail to chase and hoping I can see Albinos on the next try I hope. Albinos, Pied and a few others are my dream but are not in the cards till I can produce with my normals and this male. Then if lucky with that, watch me get Ball Python crazy as I am in boas.

I named him after a Chinese God of War………………..KUAN TI.
I feel this name has 3 purposes, one the name sounds like “quantity”, meaning I hope he does exactly that. And number 2 because I got him from Kwok and since he is Chinese this kind of fits as well…lol. Last but not least number 3 since a God of War; it’s my chance in the Ball Python Competitive world…lol.

Well folks that is the story on him. Right now he is in quarantine for a few weeks then he will be dating my 2 females that are ready for him now. I like his look the puzzle / jungle look in the pattern is rather neat and his genes could be some of the best.

Everyone meet KUAN TI, my new addition in Ball Pythons and my only morph possibility in them for now.

GL with him Tony, producing PHAs are sure better then producing normal babies thats for sure! It looks like he is going into a shed, post some pics of him when he is done when he is nice and bright.
