Has no one read the several existing posts on this matter?

The technical staff doesn't frequent this site...For all we know they're the little people inside my computer screen that make things go.

No one's ignoring you, you just gotta wait :D

BC is going to annihilate Saskabush, and go on to win the Grey Cup. Sorry Jeff. :P

On a 3rd down punt, if the ball goes into the end zone and out of bounds, it's one point. If it goes all the way out of bounds via the back field, it's 2 (I think). Or, if a recevier catches the punt in the end zone, they can concede a single point by putting their knee down. This eliminates the risk of bad field position, or being tackled in the end zone which, if fumbled, can be a touchdown.

Huh, thanks. Bit odd but guess it's a way not to get shut out. But in a tied game all a punter would have to do is boot the ball on third down. Seems pretty easy to me, but it could eliminate O.T. I guess.

All keep in mind their are only 3 downs instead of 4 in the CFL

Ha I guess I could never watch CFL I'd be yelling "what a dumb ***, why would you punt on 3rd down?" 10 yards to get a 1st down?

Yup. The 'technical staff' is our adminstration, which is currently unavailable, and has been for quite some time. As has been posted many times, unless it is something that the moderation crew can take care of, you'll just have to wait it out! LOL and keep in mind our powers are limited, we can only do so much! :p

That would be hilarious beaner!! LOL!!!

Ken, the ONLY way to get 2 points in ANY football is a 2-point convert, a 2 point convert failed attempt returned to the other endzone, or a safety.

Other rules that are different:

1) 20-second play clock in the CFL, 45 seconds in the NFL.
2) One foot in bounds for a reception to count in the CFL (same as NCAA), two feet for the NFL.
3) EVERY kick is returnable in the CFL. Missed field goals, quick kicks, punts, etc etc. In the NFL, you have a "fair catch"? I hate that one. Fair catch sucks.
4) Field size. CFL is 110 yards by 65 yards. NFL is 100 yards by 47.5 yards.
5) Endzones are 20 yards deep in the CFL. 10 yards deep in the NFL.
6)Goal posts are at the front of the endzone touchdown line in the CFL and are IN the field of play. In the NFL, they are at the back of the endzone.
7) 12 players on the field for the CFL. Only 11 in the NFL. Probably because of the field size.
8) Unlimited motion by recievers and running backs before the snap. Not so in the NFL. I think the tight end can wiggle his a$$, but that's about it.
9) Two stripes on the ball for the CFL. No stripes for the NFL.
10) A yard seperates the offence and defence in the CFL's line of scrimmage. No such yard in the NFL.

There's a TON more.
