I asked this q awhile ago for my female corn. Not sure about males though, probably like humans they can mate until it stops working. There are 80 year old dads out there with very young healthy children.

That doesn't answer my question. Are we talking 1, 2, 3, 4,...........30 years? I'm looking for a ball park figure. Your not going to buy a 6 year old Bearded Dragon female for breeding ; but a 6 year old female corn could still be in it's prime. That's all I want to know; what the reasonable time envelope? My opinion is based on information shared with me by others, not personal experience - but that said, I expect a healthy, well grown, lean female corn to breed and lay until 10 years of age - any years beyond that would be a bonus. Heavy breeding (repeated double clutching, nutritional stresses) would reduce that.

By 10-12 years, corns seem to show some signs of aging (reduced color intensity, loss of muscle mass and tone) even if they can live much longer - I would expect fertility to be reduced for a female (older ova so smaller clutches) but I would expect a male to retain fertility until he begins to show very visible signs of age.
