Well I realize not many people own them but for anyone dealing with PTS do you find they are amazing escape artists?
My trio again have started escaping nightly, I have to go pick up a new lock for it, I have had to do it for a while but have been making due with a 2x4 jammed up against its door handles, but they some how get it to come lose and fall away. The only way I think they could do it is by pushing on one door then the other back and forth quickly, and eventually it might wiggle the 2x4 lose. I mean every time I set something new up they don’t escape for a long time but once they do they remember how to do it and get out nightly. two of them that is, one female is perfectly happy in the cage she never tries to escape. Even after the other two open the door.
Also I am wondering if anyone has tried littering them. I know its not a popular concept in the herp world but I am now running an experiment on getting them to litter in a container in the corner of the cage. I figured it would be interesting to try and if it works cleaning will be a breeze.
