So, my fiancee is finally getting a little more interested in snakes, and wants to know about some of the smaller species. Ones that dont get any bigger than 4'. So I'm trying to collect some infor for her.
Could I get some suggestions, and maybe some pic's or a location where I can get some more info on your suggestions?
Thanks a bunch!:)
well...corn snakes stay small but aren't too handlable
I'd have to go with Linds' recommendation when this question was asked before and say Rosy Boa
Corn, King, Milk, Rat snakes all stay pretty small
Amazon Tree, Rosy, Viper, Sand Boas.
Ball, Calabar Burrowing Pythons, Irian Jaya Carpet and Children's Pythons average about 4'.
Rosy boas all the way! They are great for the experienced and inexperienced alike. They are very docile, slow-moving snakes that stay small (2'-3'), come in many pattern and colour variations, and are extremely easy to care for provided they be kept in an arid environment (water no more than one day per week, humidity no higher than 50% - 30%-40% is best). Good luck with your decision! ;)
i would have to say rosy boa also. keep us posted on your choice!
