hi..
i just wanted to know the best way to feed bts fruit and veg:rolleyes:
mine wont really eat anything i give her!:confused:
any ideas??????
With mine I give him/her veggies and fruit in a small dish, mostly romaine lettuce, with strawberries or cantalope.

I would make a smorgishboarg with mine. Mash everything together so he can't pick out only what he likes, or try mixing all this with some premium canned cat food, and don't forget the D3 calcium :)

Just a note... romaine lettuce doesn't actually have any nutrients, it's mainly "crunchy water". You'd be better off offering endive, escarole, dandelion leaves, etc...

I'd also reccomend any type of greens dandelion, mustard etc good for them and my buddies mows it's down

Mine loves blueberries. You can try those. He also likes green beans, peas, carrots. But I too have trouble getting him to really eat the healthier, leafy greens.

Never add any supplements to cat or dog food, they already contain way too much for your reptile's needs. Excess D3 cannot pass through a reptile's system, but will buildup in the liver. Personally I would avoid cat or dog food in general, but if you do, never add anything to it.

i never add any supplements to her cat food....
just on her crickerts and other insects (i hate em yak)
