Thanks for the kind words everyone! :D
Silke and Renee,
I definitely have plans of breeding my pair in the future. I will probably give them a try in 5 years. I would've liked to have 2.2 to breed, but that's a little outta my range :p

Very lovely!
i read today that Jamaican boas are threaten by extinction
Linds,
this may be old info...do you have any current stats ?
I don't have the current stats of their wild populations, but they are still an endangered species. There is a captive breeding and replacement program down in Jamaica that is working on educating the people and trying to replensih wild populations. They were/are on the verge of extinction, glad that something is being done about it, unlike many other species, though I'm not sure how much success the program is having.......
is there any reuqirement for people in Cda who own them to have papers saying that theirs are captive bred or anything like that?
You should have records of their captive breeding history in Canada from the time they were imported and records of the hands they have passed through, also a receipt of purchase is necessary.
