hey, im new to this forum and I have a few questions. Ive had my crestie for about 4 months now and he is still terryfied of me. I try to handle him in moderation, and every time I try, something seems to go wrong. Other then that he is fine though.
Also, like I said ive had my crestie for about 4 months now and ive just been able to tell that hes male. I really would like a female also but it is pretty damn impossible to find a gurenteed female, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out with that.

First let me say welcome to the forum. My advice for handling is keep at it, they tend to calm down with age. Try to let your cresties crawl from one hand to the other, this usually works for me.

If you are certain that your crestie is a male and you want a female post this in the wanted forum on this site, maybe you'll get lucky. If you do get a female, I would'nt house them together until they are both 30-35 grams, you don't want them breeding at a weight less then that.

Thanks for the writing back. Yeah i just came across this site and it looks great. I think I am going to post this on the wanted section. But if anyone ever finds a breeder selling a female, let me now.
I thought I was gonna get one online a couple weeks ago. But something was wrong with the site. So now I have all this extra equipment.

where are you located? If you are from the states you might want to try the kingsnake gecko classifieds there's usually adult females for sale on their.

I ckecked, and there was i female availible but it was out of my price range. I would like a nice morph, but its not all that important. I know a lot of guys might say this, but personality is more important then looks. And also I live in northern california, the bay area

A nice morph female in the US is going to cost a pretty penny. What price range are you working with?

about $100 I guess, a little over that would prabably be fine though. I dont need a nice morph, so if someone has like a buck skin or something, that would be ok.

You live in Cali well check out dragons den!
If you are not worried about the morph you could probably get a normal looking female off kevin for $100 with good genetics for very colourful offspring.

I wish I were in your shoes you wouldn't believe the shipping costs and customs duties to ship to Canada.

yeah I checked out that site amd the animals look great, especially the dragons. I i'll give him a call or email.

Thats a bummer about all the extra shipping charges to canada. What ive seen on these reptile forums there seems to be a lot of people in canada, im suprised theres not more breeders up there. Well look on the bright side, you dont have to deal with pompous ******* of a prsident for the next 4 years!!!

(sorry about the political outburst, but its kinda been on my mind today)

Well Pennywise, this is a Canadian site. Type in Faune classifieds in a search engine and you'll get a decent american site brought up. World wide web dot rhacodactylus dot net is good too.

If I lived in the states, I would surely order from Kevin. His cresties are top notch!
