I was Just about to post the same question Hehe, but is anyone going from Ottawa?

Also, Is the november show usually as great as the september show?
I was wondering if there will be as many sellers and tables since it's the end of the season?
and, which show during the year is usually the biggest? (I assume that summer might be...)

In my experience limited to 5 years the September shows are usually the best. But the other shows by no means are bad. Just check out the PCPC website for the info and vendors.

September might be the best for the number of vendors and by default it would probably be the best for variety of animals. But even though November is pretty late in the season (for some species) there are usually some pretty good deals to be had. A lot of vendors would rather reduce prices to clear out this year's stock than house and feed the animals until the spring show.

I don't usually miss a show! I'm from the Peterborough area. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

Forget the show in between now and spring? LOL usually lands right around my birthday :p Hehehe... seriously though, I think I'm just entirely unobservant sometimes. In my memory almost all shows have their individual benefits making them all good, the only time I remember a show being stinky was when they tried putting them too close together. The only other time I can think of that the shows had a few empty tables were winter. I know everyone says the May shows are supposed to be the big ones.. suprise though, my brain doesn't seem to distinguish :o :p

Actually, I was thinking of the February show when I typed that. The trouble is that I refuse to acknowledge that winter exists, so the next show after November is 'spring' :)

The slowest show I ever saw the last 5 or so years was June 2003, probably something to do with SARS in the TO area.

Depending on what you're looking for, you may or may not find a good selection or deal. Some species breed earlier than others, so they will be in good supply early in the year, and sold out by now. Others take longer to breed, hatch or even grow to a size where they can be sold, so their will probably be a lot of them this time around. It seems to me that hatchling snakes don't really show up in big numbers until September, which I (stupidly?) assume is that they aren't sold until they're eating decently. Lizards and geckos usually eat readily, snakes can be slow to start, so they won't be ready until late. (But then what do I know about snakes, never bred them, so I could be wrong).

I can definitely agree with that, I like your style of thinking Hilde! :D
