Helmeted Gecko question

Just picked up a pair of Helmeted Geckos and supposedly the female is gravid. Will they lay in a humid hide like a leo or AFT or do they prefer sand??

Ive seen people use coconut fiber in a small round plastic container. Then the placed stones in an almost stare formation with a hole in the side of the container. Im pretty sure she layed eggs when she had them, and I was told this works well.
