This is Quentin, my male ball. I got him from Matt Kameka, and he wasn't kidding when he said this ball has the best feeding response of any ball python he's ever seen :D

I accidentally dropped his rat, you can see it on the left hand side of the picture. As soon as he smells it he comes at me, striking, probably because he saw the frigging snakes on t.v. doing it...

Finally, he goes back and finds the rat, strikes, and constricts, no tongs needed :p

Anyone else have balls as their garbage disposal snakes?

:D Thanks for looking...

Good stuff Heather!! Im glad he's doing so well for you and not making an *** out of me by not feeding.. That's basically what he was here for me.. If ever I had someone not eat, he would take his own and theirs... He'll eat as long and much as you're offering..!! :D

Before I got my female Spider I always heard that Spiders were great feeders; I couldn't see how one morph could eat better than another. I got my female on August 17th and she weighed ~150 grams; she's now over 700 grams. So yes I have a garbage disposal as well.

Gotta love a bp that eats! :D See if you can convince him to send some of that cooperativeness over to MY pair, would you? LOL...

My adult Male Bp is a beast no joke!. He's not picky and will eat whatever. I'l share some feeding info that i keep track of.
10/17=Gerbil(Yes i know they get addicted but i make sure he doesn't)
10/21=Rat
10/25=Adult Mice
10/26=Rat

The rats were kinda small maybe thats why.

I should wait awhile before i even offer him a meal. I don't want him to get too fat.

I've got one female from Markus Jayne who is ready to tear my arm of everytime I enter the cage with a rat. I haven't had an oppertunity to offer her some left overs from her brother and sister cause they are great feeders as well, but they don't have the feeding response this little girl has. I have a Cali King who has allways had a very strong feeding response, this little girl puts my Cali King to shame with her feeding response.
