New born atropoides nummifer, just around one week old. Final payoff after working with them for a while.

Congrats. I am so used to our US snakes that I forget how many species are born with caudal lures.

i dont keep any hots and probably never will but the CB snakes which do have the caudal lures, do they utilize them at all during feeding?

Thank you for all your comments. I got 12 babies and eight survive. They do caudual lure and strike like adult but in a minature version; see they flip their bodies over when they strike is very funny.
