hi all. thought i would submit a photo of my juvenile coastal carpet. it is just over 2 foot long and has not long shed. i think it is about 8 months old. i have had it for about 5 months. it weighs 64 grams so it has a lot of growing to do. i still have not sexed it so i cant say it is a he or she. will wait a little longer. then i shall have to think of a name. i m happy to have a snake for a pet. far more interesting than a pet budgie. wouldnt you agree? :)

yes i was happy with its colour too. it was more of a dirty brown when i first purchased it but it has shed twice and now is looking quite nice. hopefully it will brighten even further. thanks for the replies. rodney

YES, much better than a budgie!!! I'm not a fan of birds :) That is a great looking snake.
