This kid is brave. Not many of us would jump into the water and wrestle an anaconda.

I think there is a difference between brave and dumb... this kid is just dumb...

Yep, that snake could kill him, but at least is not risking anybody else's life, only his own, so i'll grant him a "stupid but brave" status instead of just a "stupid" one. Hehe.

Watching that video clip is crazy. Too bad he has another dude helping him in it cuz he probably wouldnt have a chance alone. That conda looks pretty damn big.

Yea but if he were killed by that conda... and it got into the press... well... lets just say it could be the pitbull ban facing us... irresponsible... someone oughta spank that kid... lol

Not to mention just a little cruel to the snake.. dontchathink?

dragons, apparently he survived so it would only be an honourable mention...
I really hope that pool is not chlorinated to much cause I can't imagine that chlorine is very good for snakes...

Hehe, somehow i keep imagining this scenario: the kid dead on the water...blood everywhere...someone comes to check it out and screams "Oh my god! This is a disaster, who let the poor snake in that water full of chlorine?"

Just like the running of the bulls, what's the point? Too bad the snake didn't win. What the hell was the point of putting the snake through that? This will probably be the next fear factor stunt.
Man o man some people piss me off.

That looks a lot like the Nigel what's his name national geographic special on Anacondas. Some family in FLA I believe had a large 'conda that he was swimming in the family pool with. I don't believe that he is in extreme danger because the water is too deep for the 'conda, It's probably just trying to get out of the pool.

` In my case, the Anaconda always wins.

Good one, DFR! And a beautiful snake, too!

I find it funny that the second guy has to rotate his body in the water to get the snake to wrap around him. I believe that it's actually a tame snake that's just being used in a "shock value" exhibition!

I dunno... i'm wanting to say 'fake'

The snake didn't seem to move at all on it's own except at the very end and I seriously doubt a scrawny 15 year old kid could keep a hold on a "20 foot long" anaconda with one hand like he was. Though the thing that really did it in for me was the intentional spinning in the water to get the snake to wrap around him a bit.

That snake doesn't seem 20' to me at all... i would say something near 14-15', am i alone to think the snake is under 20'? It reminds me of something i read where people were talking about 20 footers BCIs...
