how are his temps? where are you trying to pick him up from, is he about to shed, or has he eaten lately? we need more info to help you out better.

the temperature is about 95 % hot side 80 % coolside in the morning. at night i change the white bulb so the temp goes down to 85% hot side and cool side is still the same. im picking him up from the top cause the cage opening is on the top. he hasnt eaten in 2 weeks. he sheds some skin on the water bowl im not sure if hes fully finish on shedding. im trying to feed him with a live small rat. he's not showing any interest on the rat at all.

lol most of my snakes including my ball huff and puff at some point rarely get bit. He's probably not finished shedding. Make sure you check the shed for eye caps

95 seems a little warm off the top of my head, hows the humidity if the shed isnt going so well?

Isn't this the BP you just got that won't eat? Why are you even trying to handle it? Leave it alone for a while. Then maybe it will eat for you.

I think there is some confusion between humidity and temperature. You mentioned temperature but used the % sign after it. Temps should be 75-80 degrees ambient temperature with a basking side of 90-95. Unless he is in shed, humidity should be 50%-60%. Anything higher for sustained periods and you are setting yourself up for a respiratory infection. Hope this helps.

If he doesnt eat id let him settle for about a week and a half, just t be sure he is cosy and feels 'at home'
