I just picked up these three emeralds last night. The first four pictues shows a nice white animal with lots of drip marks and the lats on this animal are the size of a dime. All three animals have very good body weight.

This animal is just like the first animal but it has only a couple of lats and less white, but overall a nice emerald.

This animal has yellow highlights around the bolts along with a dark green rich color on it.

Once I get these guys sexed and have ten solid meals in them then I might feel better off about working with WC emeralds. Also on a side note it feels very nice to finally have emeralds that are mean and ready to strike at anything. Thanks Richard Welter

These three snakes were brought into the country by a good friend of mine. The source where the animals came from is around 2 miles north of the boader of brazil. The exporter who collects the animals looks after them very well. I have gotten five animals from the same source and they have all pan out to be rock solid so far. These animals are sitting in my other room away from everything else. These are nice looking WC, they are already showing signs of wanting to be fed. As long as I follow my rules for emeralds I think these three animals will pan out to be quite hardy. Thanks everyone for the kind words. Thanks Richard Welter

Hey Ken when are you going to get out here and see some of this stuff.

These guys are settling in very nicely. All of them are showing normal emerald behavior. They have calmed down a little bit and are not so aggressive when I mist them. The next three pictures were taken without flash to show the real color of the animals.

This one has a very nice green background and yellow highlights around the white bolts.

I love this animal in the last two pictures. If it turned out this animal was a female, and you bread this animal to may lateral male the babies would be killer. They would have normal white but huge lats on each side.

This is a another little import I picked up around a couple of months ago. As you can see the ontogenic color change is almost done. The cool part of this animal is the fact that he has yellow stain marks on his side. If it is a stain at all then when this animal sheds it will come out. But this animal has four-five blotches like this all over his body.
