For these length bans is it adult size? Or can you own one of the giants until it hits 15'? That would be pretty stupid if that were the case.

Adult size, there is no ban on the species itself, that I'm aware of. So I suppose you could own males. But that means no breeding.

Who's gonna measure the animals for that matter? Imagine you have a 23 foot nasty as hell retic. She LOOKS bigger than 15', but they can't enforce a law based on an estimate, can they?

Also, If you have a 15' morellia that weights some 50 pounds, is it more dangerous than a 14' afrock with a weight of probably 180 lbs?

it's all kind of stupid because people that arent educated asume the worst with snakes thus these stupid laws many places are passing here recently.

I hate bans. But I do think you should have to take an IQ test to get a Burm, Rock, or Retic.
