i do alot of fishing in bc and i know some of the surrounding areas of these lakes are great places to find herps but ive yet to witness one pituophis.
some of the lakes i usually visit include: roche lake, leighton lake, peter hope lake (where i heard pits are abundant but never saw any,) gallagher lake, the douglas lake ranch, beaverdam lake, kawkawa lake, and a few more lakes in between.
my question is to anyone familiar with these areas or bc in general. im willing to travel a few hours more if i have to, but what lakes in that general area of bc tend to have populations of pits?
any help will be greatly appreciated.
