This got me thinking... has anyone ever heard of someone importing beavers or raccoons into foreign countries for private collections? :)

Just hard to imagine someone with a beaver in their basement.

I know someone with a pet raccoon, and a couple of 'fixed' skunks.... so why not have someone collect beavers? I'm sure if you look hard enough, you'll find just about any species kept as a pet somewhere.
