Recommended Hook

I'm on the market for a good hook and was wondering what you guys use?

The two hooks I am looking at are both from Midwest.

It's between the Mark O'Shea Series hook and the Pro Snake Hook. I'm inclined to get the O'Shea b/c it's cheaper. The Pro Snake Hook is made from the same material as the Pro Field Hook, which is what I normally use, and I imagine it is quite tough, but more expensive.

Your opinions would be appreciated and if you guys recommend something else out I'll take that into consideration too.

Personally I like Animal Capture Equipment's field hook (http://www.ace-cap.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=ACEI&Product_Code=HER&Category_Code=H) better, but thats just me. Its a bit more expensive, but if I don't have to deal with Midwest, it keeps me happy. :)

What might I ask is your problem with midwest?

I've never dealt with them for anything other than the bug-out face mask.

I've always wanted MidWest's field hook for field herping. The standard hook is pretty sturdy (not as sturdy as the field hook) but the curve in the hook gets in the way when hooking snakes out of bushes and stuff.

Generally poor customer service and rude people at their table at the shows I've been to are my only real complaints. There is nothing wrong with the quality of their equipment. Theres a thread on the BOI right now, if you're interested in other people's perspective on this exact thing.
