Hey I'm looking into getting an Albino Cal Kingsnake can anyone give me tips as far as care wise and what to expect from it...I'm use to Constrictors (i've got an Albono Burmese, Ball, Reticulated, and an Anaconda) I know the care for these little fellas is different from that what i am use to so if anyone could give me some tips it would be most appreciated

geez, if you can take care of those herps you mentioned, all you need is to read a bunch of caresheets and your laughing...just don't feed the king what you feed the big guys cause he wont eat it! haha keep him in something small at first if it's a hatchling...

They are a breeze to keep. Same cage setup as a burm but with different temperatures. A cool side of 75F (room temp) and warm side of 85F (some go as high as 90F). No special humidity needs or cage furniture. Just a couple hides, a water dish and a substrate. Easy as pie. :)

Crazy feeding response in all the ones I've dealt with, so watch your fingers. :) If it starts nuzzling your hands while handling, it's trying to figure out if you're food. Odd thing is ours usually decides that I am in fact food. Husbandry is a breeze as Tim states, and they're pretty tolerant to variation as well.

I got my baby and it turns out it's a rare type of Albino Cal King its stripes go vertical instead of around it's body. It's cool i'm looking into taking some picks when i can handle it

That's great.

No offense, but that sort of striping really isn't rare at all. I would be wary buying from a source that tells you it is. They are lying.

Aside from that, Striped cal kings are amazing looking and enjoy your new snake.

I've been bitten by more cal kings than any other species including blue beauties. They require a lot more attention than say, corns to calm them down. That's just my experience.
