Find your local mouse breeder and you can get live mice for wholesale prices like 30 cents for Adult mice.

Let's see... I started with 3 corn snakes. Within a month, I had a kenyan sand boa, followed by a boa constrictor, and within 2 months, I had 5 more corns and a king...... now I have over 100. You're off to a slow start, don't worry! :D

I'm also addicted. 7 snakes in all. 6 Corns 1 Cali King. Would have liked an 8th but didn't have 145.00 to blow. It would have been a Gray-Banded King. Oh well. :(

In 2001 I caught my first snake in my front yard. He was a hatchling cornsnake; I used to live in Gainesville Florida.

Hmm..if the landlord permitted me to allow more, I think I would need a heated basement or garage.

Beginning of July I got my first BP. By the end of july I had a cornsnake, by the end of august I had a IJCP, and by the end of september I had a JCP and 4 cresties and a tarantula. That makes 4 snakes, 4 geckos and a tarantula in 3 months. Not a bad start I guess, but i'm getting more!! don't you worry. A puppy dog boa (BRB or BCC) would be awesome. Phantasticus are definately coming my way sometime soon.

sounds all familar to me too. we started out with a baby beardie in June, picked up a full grown in late June, another baby beardie, a crested and a chinese cave in July. added a leo, the cal king and the gopher in september.. and have been chomping at the bit to pick up another crested or 2 and some corns, kings or milks. my wife keeps telling me have to stop but i know if i got to her the next show in november, she'd pick up something herself and then i could get what i wanted too. lol

Awe, I'm jealous!! I'd love to have my collection grow so quickly... parents and lack of funds put a damper on things somewhat. But soon enough... ;)

Hahah....oh gawd...I think I'm addicted too! I started out with a male 50/50 California Kingsnake with a ying-yang on the lower part of his body...then a few weeks later bought a female green-blotched snow cornsnake....then the next month I bought a female okeetee, few weeks went by and bought a female ghost cornsnake....and now another month goes by and today I just bought a male butter cornsnake. ......Oh well, it's a great hobby and I love watching them!!

Yes it certainly is a great hobby, it makes it really hard not to get another snake when I live really close to Simon. So Simon be prepared to sell me some corns when I move out of my rents house and start breeding mice lol!!!

First Darryl say that I have made him addicted and then Chris, then slowly basically everyone is blaming it on me~~

LOL!!!!!

Oh well, I guess at least we can share the fun right?
So I don't mind taking the blame~~

Jon,
I am ready to sell you anything that I have as long as you're ready~~ you know where you can find more corns~~

I started in June with a baby bp. I added 2 more bp's about 3 weeks later. In September, I got a creamsicle corn and this past weekend added a snow corn. I also have a veiled chameleon on order (waiting for the pet shop to say he is large enough to be sold).

Over time, I was able to get the added bp's off of live and onto f/t.

My kids have a red-eared slider and a painted turtle. Also a large Oscar fish tank and a smaller community fish tank. I've run out of room for more tanks although I'm sure I'll figure it out.

I'm really enjoying this hobby although I do get many comments when I talk about our "pets".
