substrate

[VI Reptiles]

I was just wondering if compost is a suitable substrate for snakes. I think it would be nice but im kinda worried about the little mites and buggs walking around. Does anyone know how to steralize it?

compost? ive never heard of that idea and it doesnt sound too appealing.

I used to only use newspapers but I found that the paper that doctors use to cover their exame tables works GREAT. Very Clean looking , absorbant and Cheap.
