View Full Version : Baby Leo Dropped His Tail
Oct. 14th- Baby Leo dropped his tail! I'm not sure why but I checked in on him around 6:00am and he had dropped it. I'm not sure why, but since then he's lost interest in live foods again. I am back to assist feeding him again... any comments are welcome. Poor thing seems like one thing after another...

Thats too bad. Any cage mates picking on him?
I don't think so... Since he was rehabilitated from MBD I gradually introduced him to 'my girls' Daisy and Girl. They bonded with him instantly and are very careful around him... they obviously know he's different and I've observed nothing but good behaviour. I am using a new heat source which keeps them very warm, and someone told me that if they get too hot they'll drop their tails. I've never heard of this before and it sounds really odd! I'll include a pic of him prior to dropping his tail. Anyone else with comments/experiences please leave a message here... Thanks.
